Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Input has no effect when moving mouse

When I move my mouse in PIE while trying to press a button, nothing happens. For example: when looking around and jumping, nothing happens. Jumping still works perfectly, but not when looking around. Does anybody know the solution to this problem? I think this is a bug.

How are processing the input? I assume through events in a blueprint? Can you post a screenshot of that?

Your inputs look to be setup properly. Can you trace the blueprint calls with breakpoints? Does the jump blueprint event get triggered when you're looking around?

Okay I did that and it did not trigger the breakpoint until i stopped looking around

Weird...that does sound like a bug at the input level. Nothing to do with your logic. I'm not aware of any content settings that would cause this behavior. Unfortunately, I don't know where to direct you in the editor. Would need to dig into the code to know more. Sorry!

Okay, thanks but I think this might have been something else that I did in Blueprints. If you want you can look at all my previous versions of my game on GitHub, it might be there (Not sure what it would be though, didn't touch the spacebar event).
