What is the possibility of uploading official tutorial videos to a site other than Youtube?

Hi,

is blocked in my country along with all the proxies. So is it possible to upload the videos to somewhere other than ? (like vimeo)

It is blocked in my country as well. You can give ZenMate(Chrome app) a try and see if it helps.

Though I can access with no issues, Vimeo is great too. I wouldn’t mind having another place to find official videos.

I think the best solution would be to make them downloadable(and still keep ) as they did with 3DBuzz tutorials for UDK.

Video uploader might need to simply contact **** and discuss it with them for a solution, when you upload to multiple sights you end up having to maintain uploading multiple copies when you add more video’s.

Another option could be to provide a video download page like before and have a server hosting in the country or location close to that area, that normally costs some money to setup, but is often a point and click operation using services like Amazon Web Services, Windows Azure, etc… But that would probably be too much unless there were a high number or high volume of people experiencing that problem from that location and can get more complicated.

So uploading to a site like Vimeo or another video site that provides main **** like services in that respective country or so might be a better option, but then again it falls back to multiple video copy maintainability.

Downloadable alongside would be best in my opinion.

I’d love to see these videos as a downloadable resources ( and Vimeo are great of course but I could then have them pre-loaded on my mobile device(s) for watching in downtime/travel)

Is this going to happen? Streaming isn’t convenient for me in all circumstances.
