Terrain visibility via blueprint possible?

Hi guys/gals!

I was just curious, is it possible to toggle terrain visibility via blueprints? What I mean by this is, instead of using the Visibility landscape tool, I’d like to do it at runtime, allowing me to cut a hole and spawn a static mesh in its place.

A good example would be craters. If I had something collide with the terrain, and a hole is ‘cut’ where the collision took place as well as a ‘crater’ static mesh spawned, making it look as if an impact actually happened.

No biggie if it’s not possible, though. I thought I’d ask seeing as how materials can (apparently) be altered at runtime - I wasn’t sure if it’s a simple as a material change or it’s slightly more complex.

Thanks!

Any news ? Maybe we could make a texture in a canvas ?
