Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Terrain visibility via blueprint possible?

Hi guys/gals!

I was just curious, is it possible to toggle terrain visibility via blueprints? What I mean by this is, instead of using the Visibility landscape tool, I'd like to do it at runtime, allowing me to cut a hole and spawn a static mesh in its place.

A good example would be craters. If I had something collide with the terrain, and a hole is 'cut' where the collision took place as well as a 'crater' static mesh spawned, making it look as if an impact actually happened.

No biggie if it's not possible, though. I thought I'd ask seeing as how materials can (apparently) be altered at runtime - I wasn't sure if it's a simple as a material change or it's slightly more complex.
