Is there a faster way to get help?

Is there a faster way to get help in ue4 than waiting a day or two in Answer hub?

As provocative as your question sounds at first, I’ve been asking myself a similar thing: Is there maybe some premium support for a little money or maybe some official “online academy”? Haven’t heard of it yet sadly.
Maybe try the forums?

There is… learn how to solve your problems yourself :slight_smile:

No trying to be rude, but thats the (sad?) truth, what i do mostly in anwserhub is solving problems for others because they usally lack that skill themselves, mainly ability to maneuver in information about UE4. I’m probably one of rare kind that have patients to do so for free, but personally i use that to learn about UE4 in fields that i currently not working in, UE4 is so big that it’s nearly impossible to know everything about it, but with effort you can learn anything and thats what i do. In lot of cases i avoid questions that require lot of time and explaining (but sometimes i do exceptions if i’m sure in what i’m writing).

Looking on your previues questions, i think it’s lack of engagement from you that makes people avoid your questions, you just throw small sentence blueprints and expect that people working for you to solve your problem without interest. Writing more about your problem with more detail really helps and some people may notice where the problem a lot easier and faster, which reducing cost of solving your problem.

Appreciate the criticism. However I Post my questions in advance to trouble shooting the problem to deeply myself in case someone is kind enough to offer a solution so I don’t have to spend days to figure it out. That doesn’t mean I don’t troubleshoot or try to learn everything ue4 has to offer. I spent countless hours watching tutorials and I’ve even read Game Development and simulation with unreal technology by Alireza Tavakkoli, but I will take your advice and try to be more detailed and specific.

Another solution - you can buy commercial support from one of game dev studios…

For a small bunch of bucks I could help you in some question about the UE dev.

Everyday you learn something, everyday you try you find something else closed to what you want

Theres is no easy path, no shortcut, you need to do and be patiante.
If you have a question that you are wainting for a reply, just don´t wait, go to another thing to learn something new, open UE4, start a new project about a totally different game and start trying it, you will learn a lot of more things and have more question, research and keep going;

Good luck!

What i people lacking skill of solving problems, i talking in scale of whole community, this is general problem i see in AnwserHub, didn’t want to quastion your knowlage ^^;

I think asking too general questions will be ineffective here, i don’t know how others thinks about it, but i kind of expect to solve a problem more precisely if a can then just post my thouths.

Hmmm maybe try drill in to community, find yourself a small group to work with which you can sit on skype and talk everyday, this way you can find direct help more easily.
