Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Bug: "Pin World Context Object must have a connection" when using Spawn Actor from an Object

If you use the Blueprint node "Spawn actor from class" inside a Blueprint class that extends "Object". You will get a compile error saying "Pin World Context Object must have a connection". But there's no such pin, so no way to fix the error. Mouse overing the "World Context Object" for more details shows "".

This picture shows a minimal example of the bug, that's all this project has. (started an empty Blueprint project) This is inside the Event Graph of a Blueprint class that extends Object.

Hi vib,

Unfortunately, I have been unable to reproduce this error on my end.

  • What steps did you take to reproduce this?

  • Does this occur in a clean, blank project with no additional content or is it limited to one project?

  • How are you populating "Spawn Spot"?
