The game I am working on is an open world game but I don’t know how to do that and I have searched online but no good answered please if you know how to kindly share
an open world game is not something you script. it basicly means there’s tons of stuff to do besides the main quest. most of the time these things are totally unreleated to storyline, they’re just there for gamers to have fun.
take gta for example. game lets you be a normal person, obey traffic laws, eat, drink, have fun in the city.
or in skyrim you can just buy a house and live like a normal citizen. go out to taverns, travel, be a merchant. all these are inside core game mechanics without any modding. mods are another subject.
check unreal engine’s official youtube channel. there’s series of tutorials called “making game ready ai” showing you stamina and hunger system by scripting ai. you can adapt it to anything.
