Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

World Composition Default Layer Settings

Hey there,

In my project I'm using world composition to automatically add all my levels to the level list, I'm then using a data table to record the names of those levels and I have a dungeon generator that offsets and rotates the levels to create random dungeons from these pre-made level chunks. This all works great but one small annoyance is when ever I add a new level I have to manually move it to a different layer as the default layer has distance streaming enabled, and all my loading is of course managed through blueprint. It's only a minor annoyance but is there no way to perhaps change the default layer or give us the controls to change the default layer to have streaming distance disabled? Right now it seems like it's limited to a specific use-case and I know that's in general something you aim to avoid.

If you need any more information of screenshots please don't hesitate to ask!

Thanks for your time,

Lewis
