Function's net flags don't match parent function's flags / Can't override replicated blueprint event

  • Blueprint B is a child of Blueprint A.

  • A has replicated event.

  • B handles the event in its graph

When compiling B, get error:

Event event name function’s net flags don’t match parent function’s flags.

Also, changing the replication settings of the event in A while it’s in the graph of B causes the editor to crash.

I am still getting the same thing in UE 4.6

It takes less than 45 seconds to make a project and test it. “Answers” like this just seem lazy imo and don’t help to make a better product :frowning:

Still crashes the editor if you change the parent class function’s replication.

Hello Voren,

I was able to reproduce your issue in 4.6. however, this issue has been fixed internally and in 4.7. Thank you for your time and information.

Make it a great day
