Trouble Transfering a Project from 4.9 -> 4.10

This is the error i get when trying to copy the project to a new verion:

Try to update the Visual Studio to 2015 installing all you can, common tools is the most important

Seems that a lot of ppl is having problem to package, cook or upgrade projects after using the 4.11 preview

I was unable to cook. So I updated the Visual Studio (took a lot of time), but resolved the problem

Ah I see, I had just gotten a new system and jut installed Visual Studio 2015 and I didn’t install evrything on the checklist

No, it didn’t work after installing just common tools

If you installed the common tools, it should work =/ Very weird

If you re-run the install for VS2015 it should prompt you to “Repair” “Modify” or “Uninstall”. If you select modify there should be a checkbox and a drop-down for “Programming Languages”. Inside the drop-down there is another checkbox/drop-down for C++. Inside the second drop-down you should find “Common Tools for Visual C++ 2015”. You can select the checkbox for C++ itself which will automatically add the “Common Tools…” as well. After this you should be able to update VS and continue working with code in UE4.
