Crop_E_Assist not working in CS6+

Epic once made a Crop_E_Assist tool, which is great for optimization and I have been using it a lot.
You can find it here: UDK | CroppedEmissiveAssistant
A while ago I moved from Photoshop CS2 to CS6 and the tool wont work anymore.

after some google-ing I found the issue.
Plugins in cs6 and higher dont like “spaces” in their filenames.
After removing all the spaces in the files I got the Assist tool to work again.

I uploaded a working version for Photoshop cs6 and up for now: Dropbox - CropEAssist.7z - Simplify your life

But I bet Epic would want to update this on their own website.

Also, semi on-topic.
Would it be possible for Epic to add an option to copy the value’s outputted by the Assist tool to my clipboard for easier access later?
(anything to increase workflow speed right?)

Hello,

Thank you for your report. We were not able to investigate this on the engine version you reported, but there have been many version changes to UE4 since this question was first posted. With a new version of the Engine comes new fixes and it is possible that this issue has changed or may no longer occur. Due to timetable of when this issue was first posted, we are marking this post as resolved for tracking purposes.

If you are still experiencing the issue you reported in the current engine version, then please respond to this message with additional information and we will investigate as soon as possible. If you are experiencing a similar, but different issue at this time, please submit a new report for it.

Thank you.

I guess this is an automated message system?

This has nothing to do with the version of the engine, its an external tool for photoshop. If that hasnt been updated the problem still occurs.

Hello,

Sorry about the response. You would be correct in assuming that it was automated. We do not foresee dedicating our engine resources to other projects outside of UE4.

Thank you.

Understandable, though its you guys who made the tool for (udk innitially) but can also be used for ue4.

If you update the link I mentioned in the first post with the version I submitted it will work for any photoshop version.
