Grid in one of the viewport missing

Hi, My grid in the right orthographic viewport doesn’t show, Even though the grid checkbox is ticked.

The grid does show in the other orthographic viewports, and when i create a new level the right viewport seems fine.
I might have pressed a wrong button somewhere, but when i use “use defaults” in the viewport dropdown, nothing happens. I am using version 4.10.2

If someone knows how to solve this or how to work around it, please let me know

This is an issue for me too and I can’t find any resolution to the problem. When I start a new project the right grid is there, but it seems to disappear randomly for no reason and now it just won’t come back (sometimes I can click in another view port and it randomly comes back, but now it seems to be permanently gone, but just in the right viewport). This is a big problem as I am creating a 3D side scroller, the right is the main viewport I need to use!

There about 2 other topics like this and all are unanswered? It seems like this has been an issue for quite some .

It’s in the bug reports section now. Didn’t initially notice there was a separate section for bugs

Been reported as a bug?

I am having this problem in 4.25.

Anyone found a solution?

I got my gridlines back by double clicking light source. Not quite sure why this worked. But I will update if the reason becomes obvious.

bump.

need an answer too as grid is missing in most viewports

Got exactly the same in 4.25. come back double clicking lightsource but goes away again if selecting something else

Worked for me! Good ol’ black magic.

Absolutely bizarre. Worked for me in 4.26 and the grid stays.

Works in UE5 Early Access, and the grid stays too.

This happens because the location of the viewport is not close enough to 0 in the axis you are working in. The reason double clicking the light source works for some people is the source is close to 0 and double clicking brings the viewport location to the objects you clicked.

Doesn’t make any sense, but worked on 4.27 xD thanks

Thanks to your advice I was able to fix this by attempting to double click the Landscape and that also worked. Did not have a lightsource in the level map. This was in 4.23

This is awesome. It worked perfectly for me. Weird bug though, and I am using UE 5.2.1 in a MacStudio M1
