My Unreal Engine 4 crashed after Pushing "Build". I get this message:

If i do only Build Lightning then i have no crash. When i Build Geometry then the UE4 will Crash. Can you help me, please? Kind regards, Andreas

Hi halobungie,

So just to confirm, this only occurs when you build geometry or is it when you hit build all? Further what steps are you taking prior to hitting the build button? Thank you!

Hello Adam, the UE4-Editor did crashed when i Build All and when i build Geometry. He did not crashed when i build only the Light.

Prior i have imported many FBX-Files. But i have done i step by step: one new model imported / Build all / Saved all and Exit UE4. Then start UE4 new and Import the next one. But by the last one i get this Crashing... And it goes not away... He crashed and crashed now.

Has this happened in a clean project with no additional content. For instance, if you go to New Project>First Person Blueprint and create the default level with this. Then hit build, does it crash?

Hello Adam, yes it was a clean content (First Person Blueprint) but from the UE4 Version 4.02 (first version). Then i imported my FBX-Files and then Build All - then the UE4 crashed and crashed again...

Do you have a test asset you would be comfortable sharing here that is causing the crash you mentioned? This may help in reproducing this error. Thank you!
