Destructible mesh - set collision profile using blueprints

Hello,
I am trying to change collision profile of a destructible mesh using blueprints but it has no effect.

Searching forums I found this describing same issue: Destructible mesh problem - Bug? - Blueprint - Epic Developer Community Forums
It is from April 2015 and mentions bug UE-7062.

I was wondering if there are any news about fixing issues.

Hi Adrian,

correct bug report for that issue is UE-7162, which is for not being able to change collision profile for destructibles during runtime with Blueprints. It is currently backlogged, and we don’t have a timeframe for when/if it will be fixed. I’ve alerted Tim Hobson to this and original AnswerHub post for this issue, to see if he has any recommendations for a workaround, but you may need to find an alternate method for now.

Why do you need to turn on collision of destructible mesh? If you swap it out, it’s already ready to get blown up ^^
