Cannonball Trajectory Arc

Hi there,

I have searched for this but so far have not found anything that I can use even as a starting point, not being an expert scripter and lacking in the code and maths skills required to work it out myself!

Can anyone provide a blueprint or lots of help in working out how to take the distance from the players camera (the start point of the cannonball) and draw a projected line of it’s path .

It would work by holding down the mouse button to raise a power bar which would use the current angle of the ‘cannon’ to project the flight of the cannonball. I already have the power bar and a cannonball firing. So I just need blueprint to work out and draw the line of roughly it’s current path based on the angle of the cannon and the current power.

At the moment it is in FPS but what I need is to make it third person so that the cannon/launcher itself pivots up and down but the view maintains looking at the horizon, otherwise you’ll never see your distant targets due to the player having to look up into the sky to get any height!

I hope this is clear enough what I require?
I don’t expect someone to give me all this for free, I can compensate someone who gives me a working solution or helps me to achieve it.
