Modifying Physical Material properties through BP

Hi,

I’ve been trying to look for it, but can’t find it, so correct me if I’m wrong but there’s no default way to modify the Physica Material properties in the event graph? For example being able to change the Friction property on an object on the fly, or the bounciness - when a button is pressed or similar.

I tried looking for a way to simply change the assigned physical material instead (the achieved result would be the same), but that doesn’t appear to be possible either.

For context, I’m experimenting with a ball rolling mechanic, and want to be able to change the “grippyness” of the ball with a button, increasing the friction of it, and similarly a different button would instead reduce the friction to allow you to essentially slide freely for as long as the button is pressed. The intuitive way to do that would be to just change the Friction property on the fly.
