Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Issue retargeting Mixamo SWAT character to use AnimStarterPack Animations

Im having the problem you can see below. The model is the SWAT model from mixamo which can be downloaded from Unreal Marketplace.

I have been trying to get this character animated using the AnimStarterPack and managed to get to the point of applying the animations to the character by duplicating them. You can see that the hands are not in the correct place.

I made sure that i added all the correct bones in the correct places (used Right Hand and Left Hand for Hand_L and Hand_R nodes) and have checked the joins in the skeleton and they are in the correct place. I have also tried setting the mannequin's pose to T pose but this did not work either. I have also tried exporting the animations and re-importing them specifically for the SWAT character.

Any ideas as to why this could be happening would be appreciated.alt text

Try checking the advanced (something.. Not in front of my pc now) in the skeleton view, and rightclick the line where it says pelvis. You should get a menu where you can select retarget recursively animation. That may fix it.
