How to fill a glass with water with the help of particles

Anyone have any idea to fill a glass with water simulation and how to do it. I want a real physical simulation of pouring liquid from a bottle to a glass. Everything I did so far with particles is in vain, the particles die out, even the flex particles die out and in the end I am left with nothing. I also need a suggestion on the best way to create water particle shader. I want to integrate a real life fluid in the engine so that I can make an immersive experience :confused:

Please any ideas, it will be much appreciated.

Flex particles can be made so they don’t die out. However you cannot get the hit/overlap events from them.
