Imported FBX morph target affecting incorrect verts?

Hi, I’m importing an fbx created with Maya that has some blendshapes. However, when I previs the morph target in the editor, I get more verts affected than I expect, and their target shape is garbage. Am I using the wrong import settings? Is this a bug? There was a couple of promising answerhub posts, but they had no helpful responses, so hopefully I can give more info.

Well, no info on what the actual problem is, however, we managed to fix the issue by averaging the wedge normals on the offending geometry instead of having them be seperate per wedge.
