Materials not displaying correctly.

Ok im pretty sure this can be solved easily but nothing comes to mind why this is happening. All of the sudden the various material i used in this landscape segment went missing and replaced by tiles. I can’t edit my materials back as well. Any thoughts?

Open up that landscape material and see if you are getting any errors. If there are no errors, do you still see the default texture when you play?

Hi Jacky thx for replying. No, when i open up my material i dont get any errors, however when i play i still see the default tiles. It’s weird because all of my terrain is covered by my landscape material, dont understand how can this particular segment get the default tiles.

Try setting the texture samples within your Landscape’s Material to ‘Shared:Wrap’ which will allow you to use more texture samples for your landscape material overall. The current issue you are experiencing is a current limitation of landscapes components where you are only allowed to paint up to 4 unique textures per landscape component. My guess, is that you have exceeded this limit for this particular component and has defaulted to the grid material.
