Royalty of a Game from Package

My game (by UE4) will be sold in a package (of two games) but the other game in the package was made with another engine. Am I still going to pay %5 of the whole package’s revenue to Epic? Note that the actual prices of the two games in the package are not equal.

How will revenue from the package be distributed?

I am the individual developer and publisher of both games.

I think $6.50.

There is no other dev. I am the individual dev of both games. But of those 2 games in the package, only 1 is made with UE4. So how much percent of royalty do I have to pay to Epic?

I mean to say, if the sale price of the package is $10, how much do you get?

With $4.50 to the other game dev?

In that case, I’d say your gross revenue for that sale is $6.50 (rather than $10). If there is additional costs, like Steam, that could be split evenly between the two devs. For example, $10 sale price, $1 to Steam, $5.50 to you, and $3.50 to the other dev, your gross revenue is $6.00 (including half of the $1 to Steam).

We take 5% of the gross revenue directly attributable to the UE4 game (calculated before the Steam or iOS cut), so in this case the challenge is to figure out how much of the revenue is attributable to the UE4 game.

So how to figure out how to allocate value within the bundle? You might take the current sale price of both products and then figure out what percentage that represents of the bundle price.

So it would see $7 gross revenue for the UE4 game for the package is fair.

I would rather say you pay 5% of each $7 sale, but I understand your point

I can give exact numbers for USD. The game made with UE4 will cost $8 and the other one is $4. The package is $10. But the point is this percentage is not exactly the same for all currencies.

Then for that package sales, I pay %3.5 royalty to Epic.

Ok, thanks.
