Logistics behind DX12 Multiadapter - What needs to be done by developer?

Just curious as to what needs to happen to allow a game to support DX12 Multiadapter / Explicit Multiadapter (EMA) feature.

Given that UT4 is now using UE4.11, I thought it would work “out-of-the-box”, but apparently not.

As I am building my own game using UE4.11, I am curious as to what extra needs to be done to support it.

EMA support in UE was showcased at Microsoft’s BUILD 2015 in April 2015.
