UE4 editor crash on opening of an empty project [ubuntu]

This happened when I tried to load an empty C++ project with nothing in it. C++ projects were running on my system before this and I started messing with some plugins to get an IDE working to edit C++ projects.

Were you loading the project from the Project Browser after launching the engine or directly from the project folder? Can you list which plugins you were working with prior to this occurring? Are you able to open the project if the plugins are removed?

I launched it from the first screen I think is called the project browser. I have Linux so I have to create the project and re-run it after creation to see the editor. The editor usually crashes when I first run create the project. It just ends up opening the kdeveloper config file it creates by default. I turned on the beta UE4 code editor and code viewer plugins. I turned off the Xcode and Vistual studio plugins since I don’t use Mac or Windows. I was able to run it however. I was using a link to the binary in the Unreal build folder. When I ran it from the command line however, it magically started working again. I don’t know what it is about not running it in the command line that causes it to fail but I guess I’m going to have to do it that way from now on.
