Epic Games Launcher 'Connection to the Server Failed'

Hi,

I keep getting this error every time i log in. i tried following the troubleshoot page but its a bit confusing. I use Bitdefender Antivirus and have made a firewall exception to allow Epic games launcher bit it still does not seem to connect to its servers.

I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble BitDefender antivirus has not been reported to cause any issues. BitDefender Total Security has blocked access in some cases.

Try the troubleshooting steps in this section of the troubleshooting guide.

If nothing works, follow the steps here to generate your Debug Logs. Post them here, along with your Dxdiag/system specs.

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. Sorry I meant I use Bitdefender Total Security. I’m not sure how to unblock ports in Bitdefender total security and I’m a little confused on how to switch my DNS. I usually the firewall, it works but I don’t prefer to keep shutting down my firewall each time I use UE4. I have updated to the latest launcher I think the error is different in the new updated version. I have also attached the DXDiag and debug logs:
