HighResShot doesnt save on Shipping Build

Taking a HighResShot on a package game with Shipping build does not save the screenshot, however goes through the freeze which indicates it actually does the thing but just does not store. It however works on a Development Build.

Hi Naocan -

The Screenshots are stored by default at the following location when taken from a Shipping Build:

C:\Users[User Name]\AppData\Local[Name of Project]\Saved\Screenshots\WindowsNoEditor\

Hi Eric, can you please tell how to define save location for screenshot for shipping build?

Did you ever find a solution to this?

I have found a solution!

On project Settings → General Settings → Screenshots → Game Screenshot Save Directory you can put the path you need. For example: C:\Photos\

If there isn’t a folder called “Photos” it will create it for you, even in shipping build!

Take the HighRes Screenshot with “Execute console command” from BPs and that’s all.

Yep, it works, thank you so much!
To add the dynamic path, just type “…/…/…/Screenshot/”, and the “Screenshot” folder will be created in the same place as the .exe file. Just test 5.0 shipping.
