How to ignore files/folders in Perforce?
Perforce documentation telling about command P4IGNORE.
I DO NOT understand how to use that command, where to write it, how to write it - entirely DO NOT understand.
Please help, i cannot find this information anywhere.

It’s just a text file with file extensions and folders plus a command.
thx, nice link. But i had another deeper problem, already solved it with perfoce online help. Short tip are: use “Obliterate” command inside P4Admin tool, to remove files from depot, instead of “Mark for Delete” inside P4V client depot section. OR, just do not upload files to depot, untill you setup P4IGNORE command.
