Oculus Rift SDK 1 instalation problem

Hi Guys, I’m a little frustrated because I can’t make Oculus works with Unreal. First of all I had installed the 0.4.0 version of “runtime driver” and it was working with the demos of Oculus. Then, I tried to test it in Unreal, but it didn’t work, becasue my runtime driver version was too old. I followed all the instructions to “update” the runtime driver version to 0.8.0 as recommended in Oculus Wiki. After of the instalation in the “Oculus Configuration Utility” Panel shows me that everything is correct, but in the “device and Printers” window appears just the “tracker DK” and not the “Rift DK” (screen of Oculus). The Oculus Screen is in black and doesn’t show me anything. So, now I can’t run Oculus at all.
I have a GTX 760 Nvidia and windows 7.

Do you know what happening? I need help please.

Thanks!

Hi guys, me again. Finally I resolved the problem. I uninstalled the 0.8.0 runtime driver and installed the 0.6.0 version and it works like a charm. Aparently the 0.8.0 version is made it for SDK 2.

cheers!

Yep, I don’t think they continued tech support after the DK2 came out. Glad to hear it’s working.
