Build Failed _2 supposed to be fully loaded but isnt

I ran into a problem where I suddenly couldn’t open my project file because supposedly the file was created in a newer version of ue4, I knew others on this forum had run into the same issue so I followed some of the suggested steps which worked in a way. I was able to open a recent backup of the level in the editor, but now I get lots of error messages when saving and trying to package.

I’m getting a message that reads: “PackagingResults:Warning: Warning Warning Package /Game/FirstPersonBP/_2 supposed to be fully loaded but isn’t. RF_WasLoaded is not set”

what does this mean and how can I address this?

additionally i’m getting: “PackagingResults:Warning: Warning Warning Unable to generate long package name for …/…/…/…/…/…/Users/Jonh//Hide yo folder/C333/Content/Lightroom/Lightroom_day.umap because FilenameToLongPackageName failed to convert ‘…/…/…/…/…/…/Users/Jonh//Hide yo folder/C333/Content/Lightroom/Lightroom_day.umap’. Attempt result was ‘…/…/…/…/…/…/Users/Jonh//Hide yo folder/C333/Content/Lightroom/Lightroom_day’, but the path contains illegal characters ‘.’”

I haev already updated the file name to remove the spaces but ue4 doesn’t seem to reflect the file name change yet, apart from making the file location shorter what else can i do about this?

thank you guys for your help!

,

Could you please create a new project and see if you run into the same issue? I would also suggested deleting your Intermediate, Derived Data Cache and Saved folders from your project. Right-click on your .uproject as well and click ‘switch UE4 version’ and verify it’s on the proper version of the engine. If it is, go ahead and try to open it again and see what happens.

Let me know, thanks!

Hello Samatha,

I am having a similar output log errors with my project. I downloaded a material and texture set from the marketplace and uploaded it into the project I am working on but I can’t package the project because Material Instance is “supposed to be fully loaded but isn’t”

Please try the suggestions listed within this [forum thread][1]. After doing that, delete your Intermediate and Saved folder and run the packaging process again. Please upload your newest logs if there is still an error.

Thank you!
