Code 0 on 4.10.4 install

Hey everyone, i have sifted through all the reports about the code 0 and there is alot of options to fix it. Ive done them all and still cant get any newer realeases to install. Its weird because it downloads the whole engine, then all of a sudden the files in the /4.10 folder are missing. Ive installed all the visual studio redistributes and nothing, changed the http time out on the engine settings and still nothing. reinstalled my OS and still nothing. ive been using 4.9.2 so far and getting kinda bored of it lol my laptop would run 4.10 but my new build tower isnt for some reason

im running windows 8.1pro
board:link text ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0
ram: 32GB HyperX
cpu: AMD 6core 3.5-4.1Ghz
Gcard: Gigabyte windforce GTX 970 2gb @ 7Ghz

Please help… Logs attatched

Hi Slycoop3r,

If this file/directory exists on your hard drive where you installed the engine, with the Launcher closed, create a back up on your desktop, then delete it in the install directory: Program Files\Unreal Engine\4.10\Engine\ Saved

Restart the Launcher and the Saved folder should be rebuilt. You should then be able to Launch 4.10.

If this does not work, you can also try moving your Unreal Projects folder from your documents folder to your desktop for safe keeping while you uninstall, then reinstall the Launcher/Editor. If the 4.10 version now installs, move your projects back to the Unreal Projects folder in your Documents folder.

Please try these steps and let us know if this resolve the issue.

Thanks,

.

Hi Slycoop3r,

Since we have not heard back from you in a few days, we are closing this post for tracking purposes. However, if you are still not able to install able to install UE 4.10 on your Windows 8 Tower, please respond and we will continue to try and isolate the cause.

Thanks,

.

Ive have may a solve, if you use an antivirusprogram; stopp the protection of the programm during you’re installing the unrealengine; cause normally the antivirussystem is blocking the big data traffic. Be sure that you stopp this process for the time you need to install. I hope it could help u.
