Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Indirect static lighting is absent

I am getting this error on my static mesh when using SLS Capture scene on Skylight: "Component is a static type but has invalid lightmap settings! Indirect lighting will be black. Common causes are lightmap resolution of 0, LightmapCoordinateIndex out of bounds."

There is no explanation in the docs on where those settings are and how to fix this: http://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Shared/Editor/MapErrors/index.html?utm_source=editor&utm_medium=docs&utm_campaign=msg_log#lighting

My lightmap resolution is set to 1024 on that static mesh.

I had similar issue using FPS template scene: https://forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?102296-BP-sky-sphere-doesn-t-contribute-to-scene-s-lighting-(
