So I somehow downloaded and installed Epic Games Launcher off of this website, while I now still can’t seem to get the download from any download buttons, but now I have the problem that when I launch the Epic Games Launcher that it can’t install the Unreal Engine patch: 4.10.4
First a white bar appears that reads:
‘‘Update Available’’
‘‘A launcher update is available’’
‘‘Please restart to update the launcher. Any pending downloads will resume.’’
So I can choose from ‘‘Restart’’ or ‘‘Not Now’’.
I choose ‘‘Restart’’.
It restarts.
Then when it opens again with the white bar, it says:
‘‘Install Failed’’
‘‘Could not download installation information. Please try again later. Code: 0’’
I can then choose to press ‘‘OK’’
I press ‘‘OK’’
Now the Epic Games Launcher program’s main page is clear, but it still hasn’t installed Unreal Engine 4.10.4
I haven’t installed any older versions either, so I can’t really even start using an older version.
There’s only the orange button in the top left that reads:
‘‘Resume Unreal Engine 4.10.4’’
I tried to install it many times but it keeps making the same installation failure.
Hope someone can help me further with this problem since I need to use it a.s.a.p. for a school project.
