Setting Actor during runtime for Matinees or Sequence

Hello,

Is it possible, or is it planned, to set actors during runtime to a Matinee or to the new Sequencer? Right now, if my Character is not spawned before Play, we cannot assign this Character to a Matinee. I found some posts about the subject, but they were answered a year ago.

Any update about this?

It’s still not possible(and probably wont be) with Matinee but i havent played with Sequencer so much yet. You can always use a “dummy” object, animate it with Matinee and then attach your character to it whenever it is spawned though. Edit: On second thought, it wont work if you want to play skeletal mesh animation for a runtime spawned skeletal mesh unfortunately.

Any update in this topic ?:wink: It can be also nice, if we can transform matinee tracks in runtime.
