Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

Hey Kbe.ke,

Which GearVR document are you referring to exactly? As for the Oculus, there is nothing special that you need to do to a UE4 project to get it working with the Oculus. All you need to do is make sure that you have the Oculus drivers installed and that the Oculus UE4 plugins are enabled, which they are by default. If you have not done so already please make sure to check out the following links.

Oculus Drivers https://developer.oculus.com/

Oculus UE4 Quick Start(While this does mention the Dk2 it will work for any Oculus HMD) https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Platforms/Oculus/QuickStart/index.html

Please let us know if this helped or if you have any more problems or questions.

Cheers-

Create a GearVR project, I refer to: https://docs.unrealengine.com/latest/INT/Platforms/GearVR/QuickStart/2/index.html

There are some options need to be set, for example: GearVR Plugin enabled, Oculus plugin disabled. Oculus-project only need to set the Oculus plugin enabled?

The requirement to disable the other VR plugins is something specific to Gear VR. For other Head Mounted Displays(HMD) like the Rift or the Vive, you do not need to disable the plugins. In fact, if you leave the other plugins enabled you will be able to have a project that can use both the Rift and the Vive.
