Cntrl c doesnt work in state machine transition rules

When editing transition rules in an animation state machine you cant use cntrl c to copy a set of blue print nodes like you can everywhere else. If you right click you can copy and then use cntrl v to paste it into another transition rule

Hi ,

Can you tell me if the transition you’re pasting into says Read Only on the graph? This was an issue with some of the default content put out with 4.10. You’ll simply need to delete and recreate those transitions if you’re using our sample content.

-.

Doesnt say read only anywhere on the graph, I built the state machine from scratch , no default or example content. Pasting isnt the issue so much as copying, just the standard hot key of cntrl c

I’m completely unable to reproduce what you’re seeing in 4.10.4 or any other engine version. Can you grab 4.11 Preview and let me know if it’s occurring there for you?

Hey
I got around to trying it out on the preview version and still the same. Cntrl C works everywhere else, just not in the state machine transition rules

Hey ,

I’m helping out while he’s at GDC… I was unable to reproduce this using the Third Person Blueprint template in UE4.11p7. Please send a link to your project in a private message to me on our .

Hi ,

Per the information you sent me on our , every blueprint graph window needs to be active before you can cut and/or paste nodes in them. This is expected behavior throughout the editor and not just applicable to transition rules.

Thanks for the feedback,
