2 Meshes (Parent/Child) sharing the same Skeleton+AnimBlueprint is double triggering animation cues

I have a player skeleton that has sound cues in the animation that works great. The issue I have, however, is that that cue triggers whenever ANYTHING triggers it. For example, I have boots that share that same skeleton so that when they are equipped, they animate accordingly. Unless I jump, the animation doubles and sounds like horse hooves.

EDIT: It also appears that if I can get them to sync (by jumping after equipping said item), then the sound is just essential doubled and not out of sync like the horse hooves. This was verified by adding a ‘Print’ to the end of the trigger to verify the number of times it was iterated.

Hi chlballi,

Can you provide a link to your test project to me in a private message on our ? If this not possible, please list repro steps that I can follow using our Third Person Blueprint template so that I can reproduce the issue on our end in order to enter a bug report.

Thanks,

.

Hi chlballi,

I have not been able to reproduce this issue so I am closing this out as “resolved.” However, we will continue to investigate If you can provide the requested project files. This will allow me to determine if this is caused by your set up, a bug, and/or if I am reproducing the bug correctly according to my understanding of the issue.

Thanks,

.
