Destructibles do not accumulate damage

Hey guys, another day, another issue I cannot seem to solve.

I have scoured the web for videos and forums, found a lot of good documentation but for some reason I have the strangest occurance.

When I make a destructible wall for example, I can hit it once, it breaks, and thats that. It ignores my following projectiles entirely, they actually go THROUGH the wall. Except my character is still blocked!

What is even weirder is, the non-destroyed parts of my mesh cannot be hit like I said, but the debris it left behind can!

Added to that, they only collide when my projectile is a physicsactor? I thought if I simply used a projectile layer and destructible layer and told them to overlap that would work as well, but it doesnt haha.
