Missing Faces on Imported Mesh

Essentially the problem I’m having is when I import a staircase the side and top faces are all missing. It’s a cylinder primitive in maya that I modelled and UV’d. Still no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried enabling two-sided in the material? Your problem may be that the poly or your normal is inverted. You could fix this by either flipping the normal in Maya or simply enabling two-sided in the material editor in UE4. The problem I’ve found with the latter is that you can run into lighting issues down the road. To invert the normal in Maya you just click on the poly, ensure you’re in Polygons menus, and then Normals>Reverse.

If this doesn’t help, could you maybe add an image from both UE4 and Maya (preferably with Wireframe on Shaded turned on)?
