University project - Cant launch project

So 4th time lucky trying to post this. First 2 times, I couldn’t post because the file size for my log file was too large.

And then I tried to dump it here, and the thing keps saying error and crashing.

I’m trying to launch my 1 level game (experiment) onto my computer so that I can put it on a usb stick to use on multiple computers.

However, it is not working, and I am not sure why.

I understand you had some trouble uploading your logs. Could you please try to obtain your error output logs from the editor again and upload them as a .txt file? Once you’ve done that, could you also to launch a new project in the same build of the engine and let me know whether or not that works? Delete your Intermediate, Derived Data Cache and Saved folder from your Project folder and then try to launch your game again. Let me know what happens.

I tried to launch a different project (just the standard blueprint) and that also failed. [Here][2] are the logs for that project.

I deleted the Intermediate, and Saved folders, but did not have the derived data cache in my project folder. Tried to launch. and again it failed.

I’m also using the unreal tutorial on Preparing Unreal Engine Projects for Release | Unreal Engine 5.1 Documentation as the means of releasing my game.

After reviewing your logs, it looks like you’re having trouble finding a specific file: Exception in mscorlib: Could not find file ‘I:\Unreal\Epic Games\4.10\Engine\Binaries\Win64\UE4Game-Win64-Shipping.pdb’.

How did you obtain the engine? Was it through source or binary? If it’s through source, I would suggest a full rebuild. If you’ve obtained the engine through binary, I would suggest running the ‘verify’ option to verify your version of the engine.

Once you’ve tried that, please try to package your project again. Go ahead and try to package a new project as well to see if it’s project specific or not.

I have done as you asked. I tried Verify and deleted and re-installing v10. It still failed and gave me errors.

Could you show me your logs from 4.10 with a new template? The log you provided me from a new template previously looks to be on 4.7 while your other logs are on 4.10. I need to see whether or not this is a project specific issue or not.

So the error you were originally having is no longer showing up. However, it looks like you’re missing a few things from your project and they seem like they’re being called. Please make sure that your blueprints and project levels aren’t calling certain assets that you’ve deleted from the project. I’d also suggest right-clicking within content browser and fixing up all redirectors.
