Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

When I save my UE4 project, why won't it load later on?

After I save my 3D blueprint scripting and go to open it later on, why does nothing show up? I am always sure to click "Save As", but it seems like it won't save. What is the issue?

what you mean by "open"? open editor or open blueprint again? Also by "Save As" you mean Save As in filr menu? or Save in blueprint?

When I open up UE4, and click on "Open" and select the project that I saved, it doesn't load. Sometimes when I build the lights, it crashes. The textures won't load either.

Hey Shrooms,

When you have your project open and click File > Save As, you are saving your map. You need to click Save All to save everything in your map. When you close the editor, it should ask you to save anything you made changes to, so also make sure you accept all of those changes as well.

When you open the project, if the map you created is not the default map, you will need to open it manually. File > Open and then navigate to where you saved that map.

If you follow those steps, do you still have issues?
