Green screen for UMG movie at Android 4.4

Hi,

I have green screen instead of movie in UMG (based on Android Media Player plugin) at Android 4.4.2 (KM EAGLE 1064.1G tablet). Also at intro I can hear sound but there is green screen instead of video too. App compiled at UE 4.11 p7 (Win x64).

To display video I use: mp4 720p file encoded in H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1) codec, Media Player BP, Media Texture BP, Material BP (domain UI).

It’s look’s like codec problem.

Do you have any ideas how to resolve it ?

Have a good day

ps.
I do not have this problem at Samsung Tab S tablet (Android 5) - there is displayed video correctly.

HUD side is: Widget BP, Image widget component with Material BP (domain UI) applied on it then Create HUD Widget, Add it to Viewport, Rewind at Media Player than Play it.

Hello R&D Lab,

I have a few questions for you that will help you narrow down what issue it is that you are experiencing.

Quick questions:

  1. Can you reproduce this issue in clean project?
  2. If so, could you provide a detailed list of steps to reproduce this issue on our end?
  3. Could you provide screen shots of any blueprints that may be involved with this issue?

Hello,

Ad. 1: I reproduce it at clean project and the problem still exists,

Ad. 2: I setup HUD widget and play this movie in Level BP for Event BeginPlay so it should start at beggining just after start application. But then I can see just green screen at KM EAGLE 1064.1G tablet with Android 4.4 (I will try to reproduce it at different smartphone too further). At the moment I also verified it at Samsung S6 with android 5 where this problem not exists. Below at the screenshots you will se it more:
