Hi JamesSwann95,
Yeah, where abouts would the dxdiag be for this?
And it does only seem to crash in blueprint window, tried creating a new project and opening up the blueprint window, moved around for a bit and it crashed again.
You can get the dxdiag by going to your windows start menu searchbar and typing in dxdiag. Open the .exe and save it to a .txt, then upload the .txt here. Is the crash limited to any specific assets or does it occur if you create a new, blank actor blueprint?
I’m guessing this is what you are after. I have only tried it with a material for the moment.
I see that your computer has an integrated GPU and an AMD Radeon R7, have you set it up to automatically use the R7? If not, try doing so to see if the crashes stop occurring.
I have went onto the AMD catalyst control centre and added the Epic Games launcher to the list of applications however the engine does keep crashing I try to use the blueprint system.
Is it the blueprint editor or the material editor? I’m a bit confused. Can you post a sample project where the crash is occurring? I’ll be happy to take a look.
Crashing has stopped. Switched my laptop to maximum performance, changed graphic card setting for editor to hug performance and it stopped crashing. Thanks
I’m happy to hear you are no longer experiencing this crash. I will mark this as answered for tracking purposes.
