Importing multiple FBX files

Right now I’m trying to import the Boxing Motion Capture library into a third person project. This project is a new creation just for this exercise. Apparently there are 195 animations involved. That’s a lot of dialogs that I’m suddenly facing. Not only is the dialog window for the FBX Import Options buggy (it keeps putting the bottom of the window below the bottom edge of the screen because it defaults to the center of screen - how big are the monitors the staff of Epic? Are they seriously not doing any simple bounds checking?), but the “Import All” feature seems rather useless. I assumed that it would let me set import options that would persist across a large import session and would not be prompted for each. and. every. FBX. import! 195! Is there a better way to do this other than sitting here for hours waiting for an import to finish, wait for the window to appear to import the next file, move the window up so I can click on of the available options: Import All (otherwise known as “Useless”), Import, or Cancel. Rinse, lather, repeat ad nauseam. Isn’t there some rational way to automate something like this for import of 10 items or more? For less than that number the manual process is negligible as far as time, but now rather than the computer working me I’m working for the computer. The only documentation on import we have is a single web page tersely describing each of the main options in the dialog and nothing about the final buttons at the end and what they are supposed to do. I guess you must Just Know(r) what they are for.
