Editor Crashes on compile github promoted branch

Hi, I’m downloaded the promoted branch back on Feb 29th which is UE4.12. I’m doing the Battle Arena tutorial on youtube by Moize Opel. And and now that the blueprint is getting larger due to the configuring of the buttons and anime montage’s every time I click compile the editor crashes. So at the moment I have to save constantly which I do anyway. but instead of compile and save. Also I have enable VR Instanced Stereo, because I’m wanting to make a VR version of the game.

Also while I have a bug report open, I also found that if VR Instanced Stereo is enabled. the fire particle animation isn’t showing up properly. if runs the animation but the material on the cards shows up in bursts.

Where in the tutorial did you start to encounter this crash? In addition to the log files, can you also post the callstack from the crash as well? Can you try making a new blueprint and copying the original over to the new one, then let me know if the new blueprint causes a crash as well. Also, do you get a crash when compiling other blueprints or only this specific one? Let me know if there’s any other information you can provide.

Hi , It may of been the just the 29th Feb build of the engine. I downloaded the promoted branch again on the 16th march and opened my project up with that build. it seems fine at the moment, I’m not getting any crashes now. So you can put this bug as solved for now. If I have any other problems I will post, thankyou and the Epic team are doing a great job with the engine. I enjoy using it.
