Why is my pickup blocking my player and projectile?
Hey! I am trying to make two objects overlap (they do not interact, but the collision information can be used in a script). To do so, I thought I would use the UE4 integrated collision system. In this case, I am trying to make a powerup that overlaps with basically anything. I have created some collision presets that, according to UE4 documentation if I had read correctly, should work, but for some reason my Player (a pawn) and my projectile still gets blocked by the powerup although they should be ignoring any physical interaction with it. Anyone know why? I have attached the collision presets for each.

There is a known issue where custom Object Channels and Collision Presets do not save when a project is closed, and that may be causing some problems for you. Even with that bug, however, I don't see anything in your set up that would cause a collision between your pickup and your pawn or projectile.
I used the setup you created above in a new First Person Template project, and had no problems. Can you try doing the same and seeing if you run into the same problem? Thanks!
