Bubbles popping Cascade

Hey everyone.

Hit a bit of a wall recently. Unfortunately I am not very good with Cascade, so I would appreciate some guidance if possible. I am attempting to make an emitter with bubble popping. So what i did was, i made a flipbook material of the exact way i wanted the bubble to pop, and hooked up this material to the particle. What i don’t know how to do is make the bubble pop at different time.

Here’s the animation:

Obviously the logic is flawed in that they are all using the same material. Is there another better way of going about this?

Thank you guys in advance.

Hello Libellum, I think I just answered another bubble-related question you asked.

Nontheless, if you make sure the bubbles all start at the same Z-location (same height) but them more random lifetimes and upward velocities etc… it should look way more random.

Thanks so much ! sorry if i asked this before. I can’t recall. But thanks for responding. Getting the hang of it now. BTW love your work.
