What is a Quarter and what royalties are owed?
I don't fully understand about those 3000$ for product every quarter.. or what is a quarter, in my college a quarter means 15 weeks
So if i publish a game and it makes 2000$ in the first 15 weeks (or whatever a quarter is) i don't have to pay the royalties... But what about the second quarter.. if the product makes another 2000$ it sums 4000$ will i have to pay those 5% on royalies then ?
This isn't my native language.
A quarter is a calendar quarter or a three month calendar period. The four quarters of the calendar are January through March, April through June, July through September, and October through December.
The $3000 royalty exception is on a per quarter basis. Therefore, if your game makes $2500 in the first quarter, no royalties are owed, and if it makes $2500 in the second quarter, still no royalties are owed. If it makes $3500 in the third quarter, royalties are owed on $500.
