Rendering bug on android!

Both UE4.10.4 and UE4.11preview7 cannot show ditherTemporalAA as mask on android6.0.1 (Galaxy s7 edge)which can be correctly rendered on ios metal(iphone6 plus). Thanks!

,

I have made sure that temporalAA was turned on within the settings and launched to a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge that’s on Android version 6.0.1. I am not seeing any issues with the TemporalAA. Could you please post more information, including screenshots?

Thanks!

Sorry I did not make it clear.I mean a node called DitherTemporalAA in material editor. If include that node and plug it into the opacity mask, when I package the game, the log will say fail to compile that material. Thanks!

I have tested this combination in the material editor and packaged the project for Android. I did not run into any errors of being unable to compile the material. Have you updated your 4.11 Preview version to 8 yet?

MainFrameActions: Packaging (Android (ASTC)): UE4Editor-Cmd: [2016.04.02-02.46.58:619][ 0]LogShaderCompilers:Warning: Failed to compile Material /Game/Characters/MicroMonsters/Ghost/Materials/M_Ghost.M_Ghost for platform GLSL_ES2, Default Material will be used in game.

These material all uses that DitherTemporalAA node and both show error when packaging ASTC or ATC for android devices(S7 edge).I’m now using 4.11 release.I think this node currently doesn’t support android es2 but support ios metal es3.However,this node shows correctly in es2 preview and mobile preview. Thanks

Could you please upload a sample project and provide me with the link to download it? I created a sample material and did not have any trouble packaging for ATC or ASTC in 4.11.
