RunUAT.bat Error

Hello,
I cant launch my projects because of the RunUAT.bat Error. I tried all the solutions from the other questions but none of them worked. I cant launch it on my pc (Windows 10) or on my Phone (OnePlus 2). And i dont get the Error on 4.9 but on every project on 4.10.

Hey Valey14,

Looking over your logs, it looks as though you’re missing the UE4game.pdb file which is a debugging file. Please verify your version of the engine. If that does not work, I would suggest checking if you’re having the same issue in a new project. If this all fails, please review this [AnswerHub post][1].

If you are still having trouble, I would highly suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the engine as it seems that the installation process missed one of your files.

Thanks!

Hi ,

i already reinstalled the complete engine 3 times and also reinstalled windows.
Where can i download the editor symbols for debugging

Please go to the Launcher and click the down arrow and options. Once you’ve done that, make sure that ‘Editor symbols for debugging’ is selected.

One last question, were you debugging your project? If you weren’t debugging in your project, this should not have occurred. So let us know so we can figure out whether or not there is an underlying bug.

Thanks!!

first of all, i still cant find the Editor symbols for debugging . And i dont even know if i am debugging my game

  • Open up the Epic Games Launcher
  • Click on the Library tab
  • Click on the yellow and black down-arrow button beside Launch under your version of the engine
  • Press Options
  • Make sure there is a check mark beside Editor Symbols for Debugging
  • Click apply

This should fix your issue, thanks!

Finally, it works! Thanks a lot!

You’re welcome

i can not find the options menu. could anyone please put a screenshot of where to find it here

Here you go!

thank but for some reason i don’t have that option. it’s just the other four. i still fixed my problem by replacing the config files from a diferent project.
