Search help

  • Simple searches use one or more words. Separate the words with spaces (cat dog) to search cat,dog or both. Separate the words with plus signs (cat +dog) to search for items that may contain cat but must contain dog.
  • You can further refine your search on the search results page, where you can search by keywords, author, topic. These can be combined with each other. Examples
    • cat dog --matches anything with cat,dog or both
    • cat +dog --searches for cat +dog where dog is a mandatory term
    • cat -dog -- searches for cat excluding any result containing dog
    • [cats] —will restrict your search to results with topic named "cats"
    • [cats] [dogs] —will restrict your search to results with both topics, "cats", and "dogs"

No shadows when using an orthographic camera.

I just started editing the top down template for a project and when I switched the camera to orthographic mode all the shadows failed to render. The character shadows appear in a small area around the center of the level. I'm using all dynamic lighting at the moment. It seems the problem is with the clipping planes of the orthographic camera, no other setting I tried affected the shadows in any way.

Bump

4.12 preview 3 and it's still a bug.

pic, please... that's not something we can just work around. A very distant camera with narrow FOV requires a very far shadow distance, so it's not suitable. Also, there are environments where you just can't put the camera away because of other walls.
