Why is my mesh disapearing when I add cloth?
Hey guys. I'm using the Physx Cloth plugin in Maya to create some APEX clothing for some flags I'm making. I managed to get the flag to simulate in Maya and get it imported into UE4. However, after I apply the .apx file onto the flag section of the skeletal mesh, it just disappears, leaving only the flagpole visible.
Here's what it should be like in engine. Without APEX clothing applied. With APEX clothing applied.
Any ideas? :(

check your scale settings when exporting im pretty sure the issue is there

I'm having the exact same issue: cloth part of mesh disappears when APEX clothing asset added (tried with both .apb and .apx).
Did adjusting the scale settings work? I'll let you know if I figure anything out.

Okay, here's the solution (for me, anyway). It does indeed have to do with scale.
(Though again, when I changed this from M to CM on a pretty old Maya file I'd gone back to, it didn't help. When I changed it on a new file started from scratch, it exported perfectly.)
Hope this helps anyone who may be struggling with this.
